Parking Setup

Here are the steps for parking setup for normal services:

• Get the two metal parking signs out of the triangle closet in the Community Hall
• Get hammer out of the tool closet in the Old Miller Room
• Setup the “Use off site Church Parking” (with arrow) sign by the Stop sign at the entrance to Oaklawn Drive. It should be setup up so that it is readable by people coming both ways on New Hampshire Ave. The arrow should point toward the Center for the Handicapped Parking lot
• Take the “Church Parking” sign down to the Center for the Handicapped parking lot and set it up so that it can be read by people coming both ways on New Hampshire Ave

When parking is expected to be especially heavy please do this additional step:

• Take three large traffic cones and place them to block the rightmost lane on New Hampshire Ave on the church side of the street. They should be just north of where Overlook Drive comes in to New Hampshire
• Park one car immediately after the cones to make it obvious that this lane in now being used for parking
• These traffic cones should be removed as the last step of after service cleanup
