Social Action (Ways to make a difference)

UUSJ (Unitarian Universalists for Social Justice in the Baltimore/Washington Area)
Backgound
UUSJ is a partnership of congregations, organizations and individuals deeply committed to our religious principles of human dignity, justice and compassion for all people. UUSJ seeks to help UUs in the Baltimore Washington & Northern Virginia area carryout their social and economic justice agendas by providing a networked learning community that supports collaborative efforts of UU social justice activists.
How can I help?
The UUSJ website has details about several projects, including Faithful Democracy activities, UUAHC and Beacon House, the Freedom to Marry campaign and more. Make it your first stop to find out about special events and other activities of the area UU churches.
