In 2001, the newly formed Outreach Committee reserved a Community
Table at the Takoma
Park Folk Festival (TPFF). The committee chair, Rick Lohmeyer,
talked to inquisitors throughout the day, and several UUCSS
members worked at the table in one or two hour shifts.
TPFF 2002 was a great success. We had more brochures and we
presented ourselved better: we bought display stands, a canopy,
folding chairs, and a lightweight folding table, and Lucile Rowe
sewed a cover for the table.

our community and sharing your UU faith and church, please contact
the Outreach Committee chair. The festival is usually held in
September.
