Membership at UUCSS
Membership is both a personal and a public commitment. Members
share talents, energy, and mutual caring with others who journey
along spiritual paths that are open-minded, inclusive, reasoned
and compassionate. Members support the principles of the Unitarian
Universalist Association. They also support both the church and
the denomination by volunteering talents and time as well as by
giving financially to nurture the ideals we prize.
There are no creedal requirements for memberships. Prospective
members are encouraged to attend an Inquirers’ Lunch and speak
with the minister, Rev. Liz Lerner, before signing the membership
book.
We expect members to attend services regularly, continue to grow spiritually,
serve the congregation with time and talents, make a financial pledge
that is a generous as your circumstances permit, foster service to others,
and participate in the wider Unitarian Universalist movement.
