Interpreted Services at UUCSS

ASL Interpretation

The 11:15 service each Sunday is interpreted in American Sign Language
(September through mid-June).  During the summer months, UUCSS has one
Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. which is also interpreted.

On your first visit to UUCSS, sign in with the greeter at the Visitors’ Table. You will be given a welcome packet and directed into the sanctuary. The sign language interpreter is seated at the front of the sanctuary on the RIGHT side. Therefore, we recommend you enter the sanctuary through the door on the right. You will see where the interpreter is located and can select seats accordingly.

As part of the opening of the service, there is a time called “Welcome and Announcements”. At that time, visitors are asked to stand and introduce themselves if they wish to do so. Please feel free to introduce yourself. The interpreter is available to voice for you, as requested.
