Overheard in our
caring congregation:
“It was wonderful to have those casseroles after my
surgery.”
“I appreciate your asking.”
“It's been a lifesaver.”
“Thanks for calling to check on me.”
“Oh, I'm fine now. What can I do to help?”
Our congregation prides itself on being a loving and supportive
one. The Caring Coordination Committee facilitates responses of
members to each others' life crises by helping communicate joys
and concerns. The Committee is also available to help organize
longer term responses to needs and to suggest other services available
in the community. Working closely with our minister, the committee
tries to help our members build a caring community.
