Discussion List serv
The Discussion list serv with Yahoo! Groups list is restricted to church Members, Friends, and Parents. Subscribers may post notices of events at UUCSS or discuss current topics and events, particularly those that related to the church or Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Most anything goes: political, environmental, social action, entertainment, etc. We generally avoid discussing serious church business because not all members subscribe to the list serv.

Caring List-serv
Members benefit tremendously from another list, our Caring List. Members who are sick or who are going through trying times may not have the time or energy to call dozens of people for help. The Caring Coordination Committee Chairperson sends out requests for support.

The Families Living Our UU Values List-serv
Families LUUV is a UUCSS parenting community that gathers monthly to discuss how we can use our UU Purposes and Principles to deliberately shape our parenting styles. At meetings and via a list serv, members can raise questions and brainstorm possible solutions to common issues and challenges. Some parents might discuss questions about the nature of God, or how to incorporate spirituality, religion, and ritual into family life; how to help a child through a crisis or stressful situation; or how to handle everyday parenting challenges in a loving and respectful way.
